I was hesitant to try anything new as my stove really cherished the Turman. I burned a skid of Northern Max and BOY OH BOY, these pellets held their excess weight! I possess the exact hot heat output as I did with Turman and minimal to no ash in the least. This pellet is as terrific as Turman, and I will certainly be buying far more of Northern Max
